About
Built by a league that needed it.
UmpCrew is umpire scheduling software for baseball and softball leagues. It started as the tool one volunteer needed to get umpires to the right field on time — and every feature still gets tested on a real league first.
Erik Short
Founder, UmpCrew
Erik Short built UmpCrew to schedule the umpire crew for his own church softball league — about ten umpires and sixteen teams — after one too many seasons of group texts and spreadsheets. He's a software developer in Idaho, runs Idaho Software Development LLC (the company behind UmpCrew), and writes the UmpCrew blog from the commissioner's side of the clipboard.
Every post on the UmpCrew blog goes out under Erik's name, and he reviews each one before it publishes. Questions, corrections, or a scheduling problem you'd like covered? Email hello@umpcrew.com.
